The Hebrew daily Maariv has revealed a state of deep concern prevailing within the political and military circles of the Israeli occupation entity, amid escalating fears over potential moves led by the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen.

Ansar Allah at the Forefront of Security Fears

The newspaper explained that Israeli security agencies place Yemen among the most prominent sources of threat, confirming that what it described as a “Yemen-specific security apparatus” is monitoring military preparations carried out by Ansar Allah, despite the group’s internal challenges and the ongoing military tension with Saudi Arabia.

Security Meetings and the Building of Target Banks

According to Maariv, the occupation government has held several high-level security meetings in recent months, attended by Military Intelligence (Aman), the Mossad, and other security branches, to discuss developments related to regional threats.

Yemen Alongside Iran and Lebanon

The newspaper noted that these agencies are working to build target banks across several fronts—chief among them Yemen, Iran, and Lebanon—without assigning clear priority to any single front, amid what it described as a multiplicity of threat sources and a state of strategic attrition.

Confusion Within the Israeli Security Establishment

Maariv considered the failure to identify the most dangerous front as a reflection of confusion within the Israeli security establishment, at a time when the circle of risks emanating from beyond the borders of occupied Palestine continues to expand.
