The American website “Breaking Defense” has revealed the amount of money spent by the U.S. Department of Defense to cover the costs of ammunition used in its military operations in the Red Sea.

The specialized military affairs website stated today that “the Pentagon is relying on an additional budget from Congress to assist in replenishing ammunition worth one billion dollars that has been depleted by recent naval operations in the Red Sea and the Middle East.”

Months ago, the United States announced the formation of a Western military alliance under its leadership in the Red Sea to counter the operations conducted by Sana’a against “Israel” and its affiliated ships passing through the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.

After “Israel” launched its war on Gaza, Sana’a announced the implementation of military operations against the latter and stipulated the cessation of “aggression and the siege on Gaza” in order to halt its operations against “Israel.”
