The forces of the Sanaa government announced today, Wednesday, the execution of a series of devastating American attacks in the Red Sea and a ship that was on its way to “Israel”.
The spokesman for the forces of the Sanaa government, Yahya Sarea, said in a statement published on his account on the “X” platform that: “The Yemeni armed forces carried out a military operation that targeted the American destroyer ‘Mason’ in the Red Sea with a number of appropriate naval missiles.”
He added that they also “targeted a ship in the Red Sea with a joint operation by the naval and missile forces and the drone air force after it violated the decision to ban the passage of ships heading to the occupied Palestinian ports.”
He reiterated that their operations “are ongoing to prevent Israeli or heading to occupied Palestine navigation in the announced areas,” noting that the cessation of the operations of the Sanaa government forces is conditional on the cessation of aggression and the siege on Gaza, according to the statement.

Here is the English translation of the news report:
This comes about a week after the forces of the Sanaa government announced “the implementation of a joint operation through the naval forces, the drone air force, and the missile force, targeting the Israeli ships MSC DIEGO and MSC GINA in the Gulf of Aden.”
The forces of the Sanaa government have been targeting Israeli and associated ships in the Red Sea and the Arab Gulf since late last year, before announcing the expansion of their operations to part of the Indian Ocean.
The Sanaa forces say that their operations against “Israel” will continue until the latter stops the genocide in Gaza and lifts the siege.
In response, the United States and Britain launched air strikes on Yemen, with the Sanaa government forces announcing that their operations will include targeting American and British commercial and military ships in retaliation for what they called the “American-British aggression.”
On May 3rd, the Sanaa government forces, through their spokesman Yahya Sarea, announced the entry into what they called the “fourth stage of escalation,” and that they will target Israeli ships or those associated with Israel in the Mediterranean Sea if the latter attempts to invade Rafah.
The European Union announced on February 19, 2024 the launch of a military operation called “Aspid” led by Italy in the Red Sea, while the United States announced the launch of an operation called “Prosperity Guard,” both aimed at confronting the attacks carried out by the Sanaa government forces against “Israel.”
