Spain Bans “Israeli” Ships Carrying Weapons from Docking in its Ports

NYN | News

The British news agency “Reuters” reported that the Spanish Foreign Minister “José Albares” said that “his country will not allow ships carrying weapons for Israel to dock in its ports.”

The agency noted that this statement came “after Spain refused to allow a ship to dock at the port of Cartagena in the southeast of the country.”

Albares added that “the ship was the first vessel to be barred from docking at a Spanish port,” noting – according to Reuters – that “the refusal is consistent with the government’s decision not to grant licenses for arms exports to Israel since October 7th, as Spain ‘does not want to contribute to the war.'”
