The British Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced today, Tuesday, that the ship targeted by the Sana’a government forces in the Red Sea has sunk.
The British authority stated that it received a report “from military authorities that the ship attacked by a drone boat 66 nautical miles southwest of Hodeidah in Yemen has sunk.”
The report added that “marine debris and oil were seen at the last reported location.”
The spokesperson for the Sana’a government forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced in a statement last Saturday that the ship (TUTOR) was targeted by a drone boat, several ballistic missiles, and drones, and that it was “expected to sink within the coming hours,” indicating that the attack was carried out “due to its violation of the access ban to the occupied Palestinian ports.”
