The Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) stated that: “The attacks from Yemen on ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden have hit their targets and achieved a high degree of strategic success by increasing shipping costs and undermining U.S. credibility.”
The institute noted in a report that the U.S. failure to confront the forces of the Sana’a government, or what it referred to as “the Houthis,” undermines its other commitments, including those to partners and allies globally.
This comes as the United States withdraws the Eisenhower aircraft carrier from the Red Sea, under the impact of the continuous strikes from the Sana’a government forces.
