The United States promptly declared that it did not participate in the airstrikes on the city of Hodeidah on Saturday evening.
According to Qatar’s Al Jazeera, the New York Times quoted American officials stating that the United States did not militarily participate in the Israeli strike on Yemen.
The Israeli airstrikes targeted the Hodeidah power station, oil tanks, and diesel storage tanks for the Hodeidah electricity station, causing large fires and casualties, according to media reports.
The Ministry of Health in the Sanaa government announced that the Israeli airstrikes on Hodeidah resulted in “martyrs and injured” citizens.
The ministry confirmed in a statement published by the media that “martyrs and injured” were caused by the Israeli airstrikes on oil storage facilities in the port of Hodeidah, noting that several citizens suffered “severe burns.”
Earlier, Al-Masirah TV, affiliated with the Houthi movement “Ansar Allah,” reported that “Israeli airstrikes on the city of Hodeidah targeted oil storage facilities in the port, the electricity station of Hodeidah province, and the diesel storage tanks.”
