A source within the missile force of the Sana’a government forces revealed new details about the military operation carried out on Wednesday deep inside Israel, using three cruise missiles of the newly unveiled “Quds 5” type.
In a statement aired by Al Jazeera, the source confirmed that “the operation targeted the Nevatim base and the Rotem industrial area in the occupied Negev.”
He added that “the operation followed the second ‘True Promise’ operations and was precise, reaching its targets.” He emphasized that “the operation was conducted with Quds 5 cruise missiles, revealed for the first time, and was successful.”
The source further explained that the Quds missile has been developed and is capable of striking any target in occupied Palestine. He noted that “the operation is part of the fifth phase of escalation, which will expand day by day.”
Sana’a government forces had previously announced the military operation targeting military sites deep inside Israel but had not disclosed the specific targets.
In a televised statement, the military spokesman for Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said, “The missile force of the Yemeni armed forces carried out a military operation targeting military sites deep inside the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine with three Quds 5 cruise missiles.”
Saree confirmed that “the missiles successfully reached their targets, while the enemy remains silent about the results of the operation.”
He added, “The Yemeni armed forces bless the second Iranian ‘True Promise’ operation against the Israeli enemy and affirm their readiness to participate in any joint military operations against the Israeli enemy in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese people and in response to any Israeli aggression on support fronts.”
Saree also warned that “the continued U.S. and British support for the Israeli enemy puts American and British interests in the region under threat, and the Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate, with God’s help, to expand their military operations against the Israeli enemy and its backers until the aggression is halted and the blockade on Gaza is lifted, as well as the aggression against Lebanon.”
Last Tuesday, Sana’a government forces announced the execution of two military operations using drones that targeted the cities of Jaffa and Eilat, confirming the “successful achievement of their goals.”
On the same day, Sana’a forces also carried out three military operations in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean, targeting two ships, one of which was a British oil tanker that sustained significant damage.
