The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Sana’a-based government issued a stern message to the Saudi regime following the capture of an espionage network allegedly operating for a joint operations room linking Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Israel, managed from Saudi territory.
In an official statement released on Tuesday, the Ministry affirmed that such espionage and hostile activities constitute a blatant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as a flagrant breach of international laws and norms. The statement noted that these actions are a continuation of the aggression against Yemen that began on March 26, 2015, and are intended to undermine efforts to support Gaza.
The statement further indicated that the confessions of the captured cell—regarding having received full training and financial support from the Saudi regime—demonstrate the ongoing subversive policies against Yemen. The Ministry urged the Saudi government to reconsider its hostile stance and engage constructively with peace efforts aimed at ending the aggression and blockade.
The Ministry concluded by stating that the Yemeni people are fully aware of the parties responsible for their suffering and the worsening humanitarian crisis, emphasizing that Yemen will not stand idly by and will continue to defend its sovereignty and national security by all available means.
