International media reports have indicated that the Houthi group (Ansar Allah) has sent a clear message to the Israeli entity and its allies, signaling its forces’ readiness to carry out specialized military operations against Israeli targets if the ceasefire in Gaza collapses. This move strengthens their position as a key player in the regional conflict equation.
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), the Houthis have become a strategic force whose threats are difficult to contain, even with the ongoing truce. They have succeeded in imposing an unconventional resistance model based on flexible tactics and expanding beyond Yemeni borders.
The Australian radio quoted Danny Citrinovich, a former Israeli military intelligence official, as saying: “The goblin has escaped the box… The Houthis represent a different kind of challenge, and their impact will not disappear even after the end of the war in Gaza.” He pointed out that the Israeli entity is facing a serious intelligence gap in confronting the group’s advanced military capabilities.
These statements come at a time when Sanaa’s forces continue to bolster their military and security presence, especially after a series of successful operations against Israeli ships in the Red Sea, as part of their “field pressure” strategy to halt the aggression on Gaza completely.
