sraeli statements continue to escalate regarding the repercussions of military operations by Sana’a forces on navigation in the Red Sea.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli occupation prime minister, accused the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah) of responsibility for the ongoing closure of the port of Eilat, noting that their operations had halted only during the Gaza ceasefire.

In media remarks reported today by Al Jazeera, he stated that the Houthis (Ansar Allah) are threatening to resume attacks if Israel returns to war in the Gaza Strip, adding that the flag carried by the Houthis bears the slogan “Death to Israel, Curse on the Jews.”

Netanyahu considered the Houthis (Ansar Allah) a “strategic existential threat” to Israel, saying they possess advanced missile capabilities and operate with complete independence. He stressed that his government takes these threats

Regarding the Palestinian issue, Netanyahu reaffirmed his absolute rejection of the idea of establishing a Palestinian state, describing it as something that “will never happen” and as an “existential threat” to Israel.

He also noted that the recent agreement contributed to the recovery of most of the hostages, and that efforts are still ongoing to retrieve the bodies of three captives.

On a regional level, Netanyahu said that Syria is more eager than Israel to reach security understandings. He also revealed that he had received a report about a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which produced no progress on the issue of a Palestinian state.
