The Hebrew network 124NEWS has revealed details of a railway project linking the United Arab Emirates directly with Israel, a project that had been worked on secretly for two full years, even during the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip. The railway extends from the Arabian Gulf to Tel Aviv, connecting the port of Haifa with the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.
The network indicated that construction work did not stop for a single moment after the war broke out; rather, it continued at an accelerated pace, even as the Israeli army was carrying out airstrikes on schools and hospitals in Gaza, resulting in thousands of casualties and widespread destruction of infrastructure.
The UAE’s efforts were not limited to secretly advancing the project; it also utilized the new route to provide direct support to Israel during the Yemeni strikes on shipping lanes in the Red Sea, which caused severe economic losses to the Israeli economy.
According to the report, Abu Dhabi provided a land and secret railway alternative that runs through the Gulf and Jordan, reaching directly into the occupied territories.
The new project reflects the depth of strategic coordination between the UAE and Israel at a time when the Palestinian issue is witnessing unprecedented escalation, raising questions about the role of strategic infrastructure in reinforcing the interests of the occupation at the expense of humanitarian suffering in Gaza and the region.
