Washington Plays Its Last Military Card… Will It Succeed in Breaking Yemen?

NYN | News

Washington continues its direct military escalation against Yemen, engaging in a blatant show of force that may hasten the outbreak of a disastrous regional conflict.

Western media outlets reported that U.S. Central Command has announced the deployment of the massive aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford—the largest warship in the world—to the Red Sea, in preparation for launching direct strikes against Sana’a forces.

The military move also includes several accompanying naval vessels and B-2 strategic bombers, marking a dangerous escalation that reveals Washington’s obsession with crushing any regional power that dares to oppose Israeli occupation or takes a principled stance against the aggression on Gaza.

Observers believe this step confirms the United States’ determination to drag the region into a major regional war, rather than working to de-escalate rising tensions.

Meanwhile, the Houthis (Ansar Allah) continue to demonstrate political and military resilience, affirming that any American escalation will not go unanswered. They assert that Washington’s actions serve only the interests of the Israeli entity, which is committing some of the most horrific genocidal crimes in human history against the Palestinian people.
