18 Airstrikes Shake Yemen Within Hours as Public Anger Mounts

NYN | News

American warplanes launched a series of airstrikes early Thursday, injuring three Yemeni civilians after targeting the residential neighborhood of Al-Jeraf in eastern Sana’a, sparking panic among residents—especially women and children.

The U.S. aircraft carried out nine intense strikes on eastern areas of Sana’a, including six on the Barash area and three on Jabal Nuqum, in a continued military escalation that local sources described as an attempt to increase pressure on civilians for their support of the Palestinian resistance.

Meanwhile, another nine U.S. airstrikes targeted various locations in the northern province of Saada, extending a pattern of air raids that have struck multiple Yemeni governorates over the past several weeks.

Local and human rights organizations strongly condemned the escalation, calling it a full-fledged war crime against civilians that further deepens Yemen’s humanitarian catastrophe.
