The Islamic Republic of Iran continues to deliver focused strikes deep into Israel’s military infrastructure as part of Operation “True Promise 3”. On Friday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the execution of the 17th wave of missile attacks, targeting military installations, defense industry centers, and command and control platforms in the heart of the occupied territories.
According to the operation’s spokesperson, Colonel Iman Tajik, the strikes hit highly sensitive military facilities, including the Nevatim and Hatzerim airbases, in addition to civilian companies and sites which, he said, provide logistical and technological support for Israel’s military campaigns in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and even Iran itself.
Tajik affirmed that the missile barrage was carried out with high precision, striking its targets “without deviation.” He added that these waves reflect the growing offensive capabilities of Iranian ballistic missiles, which, in his words, “will continue to advance until full retribution is achieved against the Zionists.”
A Qualitative Escalation in the Open Conflict
The strikes that hit the cities of Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Beersheba carried complex strategic messages—especially with Haifa in the north being targeted. The city is considered a vital hub for Israel’s defense facilities and military port.
Footage circulating online showed extensive destruction in various neighborhoods of Haifa after waves of Iranian missiles rained down—an event observers described as “the largest security breach” to strike Israel’s interior in years.
Iran: This Is Just the Beginning—The Message Is for Everyone
In a statement, the IRGC declared that this operation is not merely an act of retaliation but part of a new deterrence equation imposed by Iran since the beginning of the escalation in Gaza. The statement emphasized that Tehran sees itself as a stakeholder in defending the oppressed peoples of the region, especially in light of what it called the “shameful international silence” on Israeli war crimes.
The statement added that Iran will not remain idle and that the current attacks are only one chapter in an open-ended response that will persist as long as the machinery of aggression continues in Gaza and Lebanon.
