Sana’a forces have announced the execution of a joint naval and aerial operation targeting a commercial vessel named Magic Seas, which they claim belongs to a company that violated the blockade on access to the occupied Palestinian ports. The statement indicated that the vessel sustained direct damage and is now at risk of sinking.
In an official statement released Monday, the armed forces affiliated with the Sana’a government explained that the operation was carried out using two unmanned boats, five ballistic and cruise missiles, and three drones, confirming that the ship’s crew was allowed to evacuate safely.
According to the statement, the attack occurred in the Red Sea after several warnings were issued by the naval forces, which the ship’s crew allegedly ignored.
Sana’a forces emphasized that they consider any vessel affiliated with the targeted company to be a “legitimate target” wherever their reach extends, holding those entities fully responsible.
The statement confirmed the continuation of military operations against Israeli shipping in both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, in addition to targeting the port of Eilat (Umm al-Rashrash), declaring that such actions will persist “until the aggression on Gaza ceases and the blockade is lifted.”
The statement was accompanied by a reaffirmation that “deterrence operations will continue deep within the occupied Palestinian territories,” describing the attacks as “a victory for the Palestinian people and their resistance fighters,” according to the wording of the statement.
