International media reports have revealed a covert Emirati involvement in the attacks launched by the United States and the Israeli occupation entity against Iran during the recent war, in a development that reflects the growing level of security and military coordination between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv.

According to Middle East Eye and Bloomberg, the UAE carried out military operations against targets inside Iran simultaneously with the American and Israeli attacks, amid official secrecy due to fears of domestic and regional repercussions.

Strikes Targeted Oil and Petrochemical Facilities

According to the reports, the Emirati strikes were part of coordinated operations with the Israeli occupation entity and targeted petrochemical facilities and an Iranian oil refinery, either before or after the ceasefire agreement announced in April 2026.

Media outlets quoted informed sources as saying that Abu Dhabi was keen to keep its military involvement out of the spotlight in order to avoid public backlash or political escalation in the region.

Intelligence Cooperation and Joint Defense Systems

The reports also indicated that the recent war witnessed a significant expansion in security cooperation between the UAE and the Israeli occupation entity, including intelligence sharing, aerial surveillance, and coordination in air defense and early warning systems.

Sources further stated that “Iron Dome” systems were sent to the UAE along with Israeli operational teams, in a move considered an indication of the growing security alliance between the two sides since the signing of the normalization agreements.

Washington Supports Formation of a Regional Front Against Tehran

In the same context, the reports confirmed that the United States welcomed the growing military cooperation between the UAE and the Israeli occupation entity as part of its efforts to form a regional front supporting military operations and strategic pressure against Iran.

Observers believe that these developments could contribute to increasing regional tensions amid ongoing polarization in the region and growing fears of an expansion in the scope of military confrontation.
